Louis CK is one of the most prominent and successful bald men in America. He’s been bald for as long as he’s been famous, and his baldness doesn’t seem to faze him one bit. But maybe it bothers him more than we think! I noticed this clip on youtube awhile back, and I had to post it here.
In the clip from Conan on TBS, Louis talks about how he understands why people murder each other. “How are there not like 50 murders a day at Disneyland,” he says. All those lines, I agree!
And he notices many homeless people on the street. One of them had a lush, full head of hair a la James Dean, according to Louis — incidentally, there are a number of pictures that appear to show Dean with a receding hairline, but that’s neither here nor there. Of course Louis was jealous of the homeless dude and his luscious locks. And he concludes that he’d happily trade places with the said homeless guy, giving him all his wealth and possessions. He figures with some hard work and dedication, he’ll regain his fortune soon enough as he’ll still have his comedic talent. And with that in mind, he’d prefer to have the hair than the fame and money.
Not sure if I’m on the same page with Louie here. Are you? Would you prefer to be homeless or have a full head of lush hair?
(Sorry ladies and gents, the clip has since been deleted).

No. I would not trade places with a homeless man just to have his full head of hair. But I might be tempted to trade places with a homeless bald man, just to be bald. Just kidding. But if the situation were reversed and the homeless man were bald, I would love to trade my full head of hair for his male pattern baldness. But that is a moot point, because happily, I am already bald and don’t need to make that trade.
